There are a few dozen groundhopping blogs out there. Some of them are more interesting than others. Where this falls is strictly up to you.

Just to clear up some confusion, this is not intended to be used as a guide to different stadiums and how to get there, etc. I'm not going to just write match reports because you can read that anywhere, and it means I would have to pay attention to the games I'm watching for the entire time.

Many people have already beaten me to the punch with the overly descriptive and detailed blogs. I didn't want to just do the same as everybody else, so hopefully I'm offering something a little different.

What this is intended to be is a tongue-in-cheek look at things I've encountered over many years of attending sports.

If you go in treating this like a serious report, then you might be disappointed (or you just might be disappointed in what you read anyway), or think that I'm an arsehole. I might confuse, but I also hope I can amuse. There'll be some lazy stereotypes and the odd bit of coarse language thrown in for dramatic effect and exaggeration, but it's not intended to offend anyone.

This is as an outlet for me to do something more than just going to as many games as I can and then forgetting about them (this is a complete lie as I log everything in a spreadsheet, which you can view in the menu and see just how sad I am).

I created this to get back into writing about something I am passionate about. So at the very least, I hope what you read is well written.

And by not restricting this to just football, maybe I'll capture the interest of a wider audience.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy.
